Since 1997 I've photographed executives, corporate teams, on-air talent, and entrepreneurs throughout South Florida, shooting editorially for Getty Images and on contract for national broadcast networks. I use a controlled lighting setup that flatters facial structure and holds natural skin tone, with even exposure across the frame and no blown-out highlights. Expressions are natural rather than posed. Retouching stays subtle. The result is an image that still works two years from now, which matters when you're photographing thirty people and don't want to do it again next spring.

Editorial Portraits

Where a corporate headshot is built for consistency, an editorial portrait is built for presence. I work with creative angles, intentional crops, and a balance of artificial and natural light that reads polished but approachable. The lighting and background palette stay deliberately neutral, which keeps the images from dating themselves to a trend and extends how long you can use them.
These are shot on location, in the environment that tells the story: the office, the operating suite, the studio set, the production floor. Rather than directing every pose, I spend the time getting the subject comfortable, because a portrait that's meant to tell someone who you are has to have some of you in it.

How the Session Works
There's no studio to drive to and no one loses half a day to travel. I bring a complete lighting and backdrop setup to your office, home, or venue anywhere in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County, and I travel domestically and internationally for clients who need it. The setup is self-contained and fits comfortably in a conference room.

Lighting is the difference between a headshot someone uses for years and one they quietly replace in six months. Mine is built to flatter facial structure, maintain natural skin tone, and expose evenly across the frame so nothing blows out and nothing falls into shadow it shouldn't.
Lighting That Does the Work
Most people don't enjoy being photographed, and that discomfort shows up in the picture. I direct lightly, talk more than I pose, and give people a minute to settle in. The shot worth keeping is the one where they look like themselves.

Subtle by default. I refine tone and clarity without smoothing away the things that make a face recognizable. Polished, not processed, and never obviously edited.
