I'm Ivan Apfel, a Miami-based corporate event and headshot photographer. I've been photographing professionally in South Florida since 1997, and for nearly three decades my work has centered on one thing: making organizations and the people who run them look as good in pictures as they do in person.

I shoot as an editorial photographer for Getty Images' News and Entertainment Division, covering red carpets, premieres, award shows, and live productions that go out on the international wire. How I Work
I show up early, dressed for the room, and I stay out of the way. I learn your run-of-show, your VIPs, and your must-have shots before the event starts, so you're not managing me while you're managing everything else. During the event I'm anticipating moments, not chasing them. Afterward, you get a polished, professionally edited gallery delivered fast enough to actually use — for your recap emails, sponsor reports, and social channels while the event is still fresh.

Because my work spans corporate events, executive headshots, branding photography, and on-site headshot stations, many of my clients use me as their single visual partner. The planner who books me for a conference often adds a headshot station so every attendee leaves with a professional portrait.
